Occupational Therapist needed east of Topeka, KS | 24/25 School Year

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and other related skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide training and support to teachers and parents to help them understand and implement strategies that support students' development.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- Master's Level Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active State Occupational Therapist License.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and pediatric occupational therapy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
